- What are Irina Hansen’s top priorities?
- Restoring trust in government – Transparency, accountability, and fighting corruption.
- Strengthening the economy – Supporting small businesses and job growth.
- Public safety – Make sure law enforcement have the resources and tools to keep our communities safe. I support Union Organizations representing state employees as long as they are within reason.
- Education reform – Better funding, school choice, to be extended to parents that choose to home school their children. The money will follow the student individually. We are also going to get rid of any far left ideologies trying to indoctrinate our children with nonsensical pornagraphic materials.
- Second Amendment- As Governor of Nevada, I will defend without compromise the right of law-abiding citizens to keep and bear arms. The Founders understood that an armed populace is the last and strongest safeguard against government overreach, tyranny, and lawlessness.
- Defending personal freedoms –Upholding Constitutional Rights and the Rule of Law. No public official or state actor is above the Constitution. Those who violate a citizen’s constitutional rights shall no longer hide behind the shield of immunity. Accountability will be enforced to the highest degree of law because no one is a god without consequence, and every office holder must answer to the people they serve.
- Protecting the freedoms (free speech, self defense, and due process) of every Nevadan by ensuring government at every level- local, state, and federal- is held accountable when they trample on the American people's Constitutional rights.
- Securing Legal Immigration- End sanctuary policies, enforce the rule of law, and support legal immigrants by listening to their concerns, protecting their rights, and ensuring they are prioritized and have access to resources, such as: state business grants, workforce development funds, or housing assistance programs.
- Voter ID & Election Integrity – Require valid, government-issued photo ID to vote, audit voter rolls regularly, and ban ballot harvesting to restore public trust in Nevada’s elections.
How will Irina Hansen support small businesses?
- Irina plans to reduce unnecessary regulations and create opportunities for small business owners to thrive.
- I will conduct a top-to-bottom review of state licensing and permitting requirements- and eliminate the ones that serve no purpose other than blocking entry.
- Create a " Nevada Small Business Hub" - Launch a digital and in person one stop shop where entrepreneurs can get all their licensing requirements and complete all steps necessary in one hub location rather than getting bounced around between agencies. This will speed up business registration, licensing, zoning approvals, and permit processing.
- Create a Nevada Business Launch Fund for minority, women, and veteran-owned businesses.
- Fee Waivers or Reductions — For first-time entrepreneurs, veterans, or businesses opening in underserved communities.
- Expand Access to Capital
I’ll create grant and microloan programs targeting small, women-, minority-, and veteran-owned businesses, ensuring capital gets into the hands of the people who actually build our economy.
What is Irina Hansen’s stance on education?
- She supports increasing funding for school choice, ensuring that education dollars follow the student to whichever school best fits their needs, whether it’s a public, charter, private, or homeschool program, expanding vocational and career training programs equipping students with real-world skills, and ensuring parents have a say in their children’s education without interference from government.
What will Irina Hansen do about crime and public safety?
- I will prioritize law enforcement funding, and that the State of Nevada is to Honor the Collective Bargaining agreements upon execution by all parties. Our Law Enforcement should not have to file lawsuit for the government to act on the fully executed contracted it agreed to, unless some unforeseen catastrophe as taken place. We will also enforce stronger penalties for violent crimes, repeated offenders and combat drug-related issues to keep our communities safe. Public safety isn’t just about policing our streets, it’s about holding government officials accountable when they abuse power. As Governor, I will crack down on corruption by enforcing full financial transparency, strengthening whistleblower protections, and imposing strict penalties on anyone who manipulates laws, obstructs justice, or abuses authority under the Color of Law. That stops on my watch.
- I will establish an Independent Civilian-Led Task Force with subpoena power to investigate corruption at every level of government. Nevadans deserve a government that serves the people, not special interests, lobbyists, or the pockets of politicians. When corruption is allowed to flourish, justice is subverted and public trust collapses. Restoring that trust is my number-one priority..
