Nevadans are being crushed under the weight of skyrocketing housing costs, rampant homelessness, and a government that has done nothing but offer empty promises.
While career politicians delay and make excuses, our families, seniors, veterans, and workers are suffering. Their dreams are squashed from ever owning a home, and they're being gouged at the gas pump, grocery stores, and every other necessity needed to raise a family.
As a Mother of three children, a business owner and someone who has spent over 21 years in Real Estate, I understand firsthand the challenges ordinary Nevadans face when trying to rent, buy, or simply keep a roof over their heads.
Lombardo TALKS A BIG CAMPAIGN about solving the housing crisis “on day one” if RE- ELECTED — but he’s already had his chance, and under his watch the crisis has only gotten worse. Just like governors before him, it's been nothing but empty promises and political lip service. Nevadan's aren't seeing solutions, we've only seen it get worse. Same old promises. Same old failures. Nevadans have had enough!
1. Pursue and Prosecute Housing Fraud- Billions in federal funds were sent to Nevada to address affordable housing — yet the homelessness crisis has only worsened. Where did the money go? Into the pockets of corrupt politicians, fake nonprofits, and shady insiders.
As Governor, I will use every tool of executive authority to root out corruption and bring justice to the people of Nevada.
I will order full-scale forensic audits of every agency and program that handled housing funds. I will appoint a Special Counsel to investigate fraud, kickbacks, and theft. I will propose and sign legislation to establish a permanent Public Integrity Division — empowered to investigate corruption at every level of state and local government, especially the misuse of federal and state grants.
We will track it. We will expose it. We will prosecute it.
And what we can't recover through criminal courts, we’ll go after through civil action — including seizing pensions and freezing assets of those who betrayed the public trust.
When state officials are compromised, I will go directly to federal authorities and bring in the DOJ, FBI, and any agency needed to take them down. No more cover-ups. No more protection for the corrupt.
Nevadans have felt the burn of this betrayal for too long — now it’s their turn to feel it.
" As your Governor, I will make sure we recover the funds stolen by corrupt officials — every cent belongs to the people, and we’re coming for it. " - Irina Hansen
2. Streamline Housing Development — Without Bureaucratic Red Tape
I will immediately cut through excessive permitting, licensing delays, and unnecessary bureaucracy that drive up housing costs and discourage new construction.
Affordable housing projects must be shovel-ready and built fast — not buried under government paperwork.
3. Prioritize Nevada Residents — Not Outsiders or Investors
Too often, out-of-state corporations and foreign investors drive up prices while ordinary Nevadans are priced out of their own communities.
I will work to ensure affordable housing is prioritized for Nevada families first, not for outside speculators.
4. Promote Real Homeownership — Not Lifetime Renting
The American Dream is about owning a home, not being trapped as a permanent renter.
I will expand first-time homebuyer programs, reduce hidden government costs that inflate property prices, and protect private property rights so Nevadans can build generational wealth — not government dependency.
5. Hold Local Governments Accountable
Cities and counties receiving housing funds will be required to show real results — or lose funding.
No more blank checks with no accountability.
6. Real Solutions for the Homeless Crisis
Throwing more money at homelessness without fixing corruption and broken programs is not the answer.
I will invest in treatment programs, mental health support, shelters tied to responsibility standards, and job training, while cutting off endless taxpayer funding to nonprofit organizations that enable dependency instead of real rehabilitation.
Housing is not a privilege reserved for the wealthy or politically connected — it is part of the American Dream.
